Nice little review of GARGANTUA by Peter Guy on Mersey Blogs, part of a longer review about the magnificent UpItUp 10th Birthday weekender...

"Ergo Phizmiz and The Wyrding Module topped a bill that brought nigh-on incomparable music and theatre to Liverpool's Mello Mello....This precededErgo Phizmiz'sGargantua- a genuinely unique stage-show full of toilet humour, gigantic papier-mâché heads, sliced up gramophone recordings and disturbing religious imagery.
As impossible as it was to follow the spiralling, convoluted plot, the visual imagery, wordplay and music all made for an other worldly experience the likes of which only Phizmiz could conjure."
After a long and magical journey about the country, here we are now back at home in Bridport. And just look at some of the lovely things you kind folks have said about our GARGANTUA.....

@Pensham the cows were part of cool visuals to less-than-engaging support act. The main event was confusing but entertaining genius.
Saturday night saw the grand unveiling of Mr Phizmiz's wonderful new production, and very well it went too. Fantastic turn out, lots of great comments, a thoroughly enjoyable evening had by all. Well done cast members Rob Lee, Growler Pounder and Dr Robertson and everyone else involved. Now they just got to to tour it up and down the country. Good luck to them!
Here's another in our podcast series where cast and crew members got tipsy and attempted to explain aspects of Gargantua, or not.
